Official Food Storage Calculator program, in a self-extracting archive. This program is extremely helpful, as it will calculate the amount of food you need to store, based on the number of people in your family and the number of months you want to store food for. It will also print out the results in a checklist format to make it easier for you to manage your food storage.
To use the calculator, click on the arrow link above (if you have trouble saving the file, right-click with your mouse button and choose the "Save Link As..." option) to save the file to your harddrive. To make it easier, save the file directly to your Desktop. Once the file is saved, go to the location where you saved the file to, and double-click the icon. The file will automatically decompress the necessary files (FS.EXE and FS.DBF) to the location C:\Program Files\Food Storage Calculator, although you have the option of changing the target location. Click on the Unzip button to uncompress the files, then click on the Close button. Note: the Food Storage Calculator is a DOS-based program. Currently we are working on developing a Windows-based program for your use.
Warning! Do NOT delete the FS.DBF file! Without the file, the FS.EXE program cannot run, as it needs information stored in the DBF file.
